Sunday November 11th at 11am marks the 100th anniversary of the end of the first world war. Remembrance day is observed all across the world to honor and remember those who served and are still serving their country and fighting for freedom of others. First Vice President of the Napanee Legion Chris Ingersoll says “Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it” is a good saying to remember:

The annual Remembrance Day ceremony takes place in Napanee at the Cenotaph on Thomas Street at 11am. Everyone is encouraged to join the ceremony and remember.
