Junior Hawks Football / Belleville East Defenders

The Napanee Junior Hawks tackle football team will host the Belleville East Defenders on Friday, June 5, 2026, in their only home game of the season. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. at NDSS.

The community is encouraged to come out and show strong support for the hometown team while cheering on the players in a positive and encouraging atmosphere. Fans can also enjoy Kona Ice and a BBQ fundraiser in support of the team.

The Napanee Jr. Hawks would like to thank several generous community sponsors who have already stepped up, including Loyalist Homes, Jaime and Jaclyn’s No Frills, Battlefield Equipment Rentals, and Joyce’s Meat & Deli. The Napanee Jr. Hawks are part of the Bay of Quinte Minor Football League, alongside teams from Trent Hills, Trenton, and Belleville.

The team practices at NDSS and is made up of local students in Grades 6 through 8. The Bay of Quinte Minor Football League provides young athletes with the opportunity to participate in organized full-contact tackle football in a safe and supportive environment. In addition to promoting physical activity, the program emphasizes teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and personal growth. The league is committed to helping players build confidence, develop lasting friendships, and create meaningful memories both on and off the field.
