This is the 242nd anniversary of the Landing of the Loyalists in Adolphustown on June 16th 1784. A re-enactment of the Landing will take place on Saturday, June 13th, to be followed by the drawing of lots for their new homes. Sunday June 14th will be the UEL flag-raising at the UEL cemetery in the park accompanied by a rifle volley. This is also the 70th anniversary of the creation of the park, as one of the Parks of the St.Lawrence Parks Commission. The camp is open to the public from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and until 3 pm on Sunday. Tents will begin appearing on Tuesday June 9th. Come for a visit and step back in time! Gate admission to the park is $5 for adults and those under 16 are free. Bring a picnic and plan to stay for the day.
