Greater Napanee residents can now report illegal campfires and other non-emergency fire concerns by calling 613-856-2229. Calls will be answered or followed up as soon as possible.
The town says the number is for situations that do not pose an immediate threat to people, property or surrounding areas.
Residents should call 9-1-1 for spreading fires, burning structures or vehicles, people in danger or immediate public safety threats.
