Napanee hockey player Cal Uens has been invited to the Ottawa Senators’ training camp.
The Quebec Remparts, Uens’ former QMJHL team, confirmed the news in a social media post Wednesday.
Uens is a graduate of the Quinte Red Devils and played in the OHL with the Owen Sound Attack and Kingston Frontenacs before finishing his junior career in Quebec.
The defenceman had a strong 2025-26 season with the Remparts, recording 13 goals and 36 assists for 49 points in 63 games.
Uens signed with the ECHL’s Allen Americans for the 2026-27 season. The Americans are affiliated with the AHL’s Belleville Senators and NHL’s Ottawa Senators.
