A 25-year-old Pontypool man is facing impaired driving charges after a single-vehicle collision in Prince Edward County.
Ontario Provincial Police responded shortly before midnight Sept. 10 to a report of a vehicle that had entered a ditch on County Road 4.
Officers attended the scene and investigated before arresting a driver and taking the person to the detachment for further testing.
D’Andrej Jamal Felix has been charged with operation while impaired by alcohol and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80-plus.
Felix was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Court in Picton. He also received a 90-day driver’s licence suspension and a seven-day vehicle impoundment.
Police are reminding the public to call 911 if they suspect someone is driving while impaired.
