The Frontenac Arch Biosphere Network’s (FABN) annual Trails Fest runs this weekend, inviting people to get out and explore local trails.
With more on the free hikes, here’s FABN’s Communications and Outreach Coordinator Becky Lamb.
Hikes are planned in South Frontenac, as well in Brockville, Rideau Lakes and Gananoque.
The first is set for Friday in South Frontenac at 2 p.m. at Wintergreen Studios, followed by a Gould Lake Conservation Area hike at 5:30 p.m.
Lamb says donations to support the organization are welcome.
She also recommended people register ahead of time.
