An inmate at Bath Institution’s Regional Treatment Centre has died while in federal custody.
Correctional Service Canada says Rodney Allen, 69, died Sept. 3, 2026, of apparent natural causes.
Allen had been serving an indeterminate sentence since April 9, 2002. His next of kin have been notified.
The Correctional Service of Canada says it will review the circumstances surrounding the death, as it does in all cases involving an inmate death.
Under CSC policy, police and the coroner were notified.
