A 52-year-old Loyalist Township resident has been charged with impaired driving after L&A County OPP investigated a report of a possible impaired driver.
Police were called shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday after the vehicle reportedly left a business in Loyalist Township.
Officers located the vehicle at a residence in Bath and arrested the driver following an investigation.
Police say breath testing at the detachment showed the driver’s alcohol level was more than three and a half times the legal limit.
Jan Oliver faces charges of operation while impaired by alcohol, operation while impaired with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol and operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code.
Oliver was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
