A 35-year-old Stone Mills resident has been charged with impaired driving following a police investigation Friday evening.
Lennox and Addington County OPP officers were called to a report of a possible impaired driver in Stone Mills Township shortly after 7 p.m. on Aug. 21.
Police located the vehicle at a residence on County Road 17. The driver registered a fail on an approved screening device and was arrested.
Stephanie Hickey, 35, faces charges of operation while impaired by alcohol and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration over 80 milligrams.
Hickey was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee on Oct. 6.
The accused’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was impounded.
