UPDATE 8:15AM: Highway 401 eastbound has reopened between Palace Road in Greater Napanee to Lennox & Addington County Road 6 in Odessa following a collision.

The eastbound lanes of Highway 401 are closed between Palace Road in Greater Napanee and Lennox and Addington County Road 6 in Odessa following a multi-vehicle collision.
The crash involved four transport trucks and a pickup truck, according to the OPP East Region on Facebook.
One person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Other occupants were assessed at the scene.
The collision was reported late Tuesday night, and the highway remains fully closed this morning as crews continued responding and cleaning up the scene.
The closure is expected to last for several more hours.
Drivers are being advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes while emergency crews and cleanup workers remain on the highway.
