Two Kingston students are bringing a sweet fundraiser to the Bath Farmers Market later this month.
Cake Picnic Kingston will take place Sunday, August 23, as a student-run community event supporting Pawsitive Impact, a local charity that provides low-cost spay and neuter services for low-income and unhoused families and their pets.
Bakers of all ages and skill levels are invited to purchase a ticket, bring a cake and spend the afternoon sampling creations from other participants. The event will also feature cake flights, photo props and cakes from Kingston bakeries.
The fundraiser is being organized by 13-year-old co-presidents Gwen Holmberg and Amelia Vanderhaar, who hope to raise money while creating a fun community event.
Tickets can be purchased through Cake Picnic Kingston’s Instagram account, the Pawsitive Impact website or by contacting organizers directly at cakepicnickingston2026@gmail.com.
