The Community Foundation for Lennox & Addington celebrated a record year of giving during its annual Take It For Granted event, announcing more than $202,000 in grants and student awards across the region.
Executive Director Bob Baker said the organization was proud to see a record amount of funding reach the community in 2026.
Among this year’s grant recipients are Community Living Lennox & Addington and Family and Children’s Services.
The evening also highlighted the newly created Oliver Family Fund. Led by brothers John and David Oliver, the fund honours their parents, Ross and Helen Oliver, who raised their family in Napanee.
A new student award funded by the family was presented for the first time during the event. Future funding from the endowment will support environmental, health-care and animal welfare initiatives.
The foundation is also continuing preparations for its annual golf tournament on Wednesday, with just a few spots remaining.
