One person has died following a collision on Highway 62 near Foxboro, Ontario, Canada, just north of Belleville.
The crash happened Saturday, May 23, 2026, just before 11:30 p.m., and involved a pickup truck and a cyclist, according to the Ontario Provincial Police Central Hastings Detachment.
Police said the cyclist was taken to hospital but was later pronounced dead. Officers closed Highway 62 between Foxboro Stirling Road and Frankford Road for several hours while the scene was investigated.
The OPP East Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
Police say the cause of the collision has not yet been determined and the investigation remains active.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the crash, or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time, to contact Central Hastings OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
