Cyclists from across the region are expected to return to Stone Mills Township next month for the fourth annual Naturally L&A Gravel Ride.
The event takes place Saturday, June 6, and features a 56-kilometre route through the back roads of Lennox and Addington County. Riders will travel through communities including Tamworth, Croydon and Enterprise before returning to Centerville for post-ride festivities.
Rob Plumley, senior economic development officer for Lennox and Addington County, said the ride continues to grow each year.
The route includes several rest stops highlighting local businesses and attractions. Participants can enjoy honey over ice cream from McTaggart Apiaries, visit Matthew’s Studio near Tamworth and stop at locations offering food and live music.
Registration is now open online, with more than 320 riders already signed up. Tickets cost $40 each.
Plumley said the event also helps introduce cyclists to the region’s growing network of gravel cycling routes.
