A growing mental health clinic in Greater Napanee is working to make support easier to find and access for local residents.
Napanee Psychotherapy was founded by registered social worker Cassandra Millen and registered psychotherapist Stacey Dowling, who reconnected several years ago after first working together in the community more than a decade earlier.
The clinic began as a small group and has since expanded, bringing in additional clinicians and broadening the services available. The goal has remained the same — to provide a simple, local option for people seeking help without long wait times or complicated searches.
Dowling says mental health care should be a daily priority, not just something people think about during Mental Health Week.
The clinic offers support for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, couples counselling and life transitions. As the team grows, new specialties are added to better meet community needs.
Napanee Psychotherapy has also expanded its footprint through a partnership with The Edit HQ, opening a second location in downtown Napanee while continuing to operate from its Commercial Court office.
Residents can learn more or connect with a clinician through the clinic’s website or email, with staff helping match.
