An early morning break and enter in Prince Edward County has led to multiple charges.
The Ontario Provincial Police say officers were called to a home around 5:40 a.m. on Sunday, April 26, after reports of an intruder. Following an investigation, a 27-year-old local man was arrested.
The accused faces several charges, including break and enter, theft under $5,000 and multiple counts of mischief. He is also charged with several offences involving police, including assaulting an officer and resisting arrest, as well as uttering threats and failing to comply with an order.
Police say the accused was held in custody following the arrest and is scheduled to appear in bail court.
