Tim Hortons is bringing back its annual Smile Cookie Week from April 27 to May 3, with proceeds in Greater Napanee supporting local healthcare.
The popular chocolate chunk cookies, decorated with pink and blue icing smiles, will be sold at locations across the country. In Greater Napanee, 100 per cent of funds raised will go to the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital Foundation.
Tim Hortons Napanee General Manager Victoria Asselstine shared with myFM this is an important week.
myFM also spoke with the Foundation’s Amanda Chalk, who told us how funds raised are being used this year.
Since 2007, local Tim Hortons restaurants have raised more than $250,000 through the campaign. Asselstine shared with us this years goal.
Residents can support the initiative by purchasing a $2 cookie, placing pre-orders for groups, or volunteering to help decorate them. To volunteer you can contact the hospital foundation, or visit the Centre Street or Dundas Street locations.
