Westbound lanes of Highway 401 are closed in the Greater Napanee area following a serious collision involving three transport trucks near Lennox and Addington Road 4 in Odessa.
The closure now extends from Centre Street/County Road 41 (Interchange 579) to Palace Road/County Road 5 (Interchange 582) in Napanee.
Emergency crews are on scene assessing injuries, and traffic delays are expected throughout the area.
Motorists are urged to avoid the corridor and use alternate routes while investigators and cleanup crews work at the site.
Officials say the closure will remain in place until further notice, with updates to follow as more information becomes available.
