Two Kingston men are facing drug trafficking charges after a police investigation that began with a traffic stop in Belleville and led to a search warrant in Kingston.
On March 2, 2026, members of the Belleville Police Service Drug and Intelligence Unit, Emergency Response Unit and K9 Unit stopped a vehicle in the city’s east end. Police later executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at a residence in Kingston’s west end.
Officers say they seized fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine and a quantity of Canadian currency.
Bobby Grant, 31, and Patrick Grant, 63, both of Kingston, were arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and methamphetamine, along with possession of proceeds of crime under $5,000. Both men were held for bail hearings.
Police also say Patrick Grant was wanted on two outstanding warrants from Peel Region and Kingston at the time of his arrest.
