The Napanee Raiders move on to the semi finals, after defeating the Port Hope Panthers on a Wednesday night in Napanee.
After a scoreless first period, the Raiders would go up 2-0 in the second, thanks to goals by Trent Williams and Ben Kerr. The Port Hope Panthers found the back of the net in the third period, scoring their first, then second to tie the game 2-2. With almost a minute to go in the third period, Raiders’ Andrew Carr would score short handed, to give the Raiders a 3-2 win!
Napanee Raiders goalie Jacob Brown made 21 saves on 23 shots on goal to earn the shutout.
The Napanee Raiders are 4-0 in the playoffs. In the other Todd division matchups, Frankford leads Trent Hills 3-0 and Amherstview leads Picton 2-1.
Napanee now waits to play the winner of the Frankford/Trent Hills series.
