The L&A Career Fair is returning to Napanee this spring, with organizers expecting another strong turnout as the event enters its third year.
Career Edge Lennox and Addington is once again partnering with Work in Quinte and the Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board to host the free event. Last year, more than 300 jobseekers attended, connecting directly with local employers.
The career fair will take place Tuesday, March 10, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Best and Bash Arena banquet hall. There is no cost for employers or jobseekers to attend.
Organizers say the fair helps strengthen the local workforce by creating face-to-face connections. Employers can register in advance, with table space limited. Jobseekers are encouraged to bring resumes and be prepared to speak with potential employers about available opportunities across the region.
