The Glenora Ferry will be temporarily out of service on Tuesday, February 10, from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for maintenance work at the Adolphustown dock, the Ministry of Transportation announced.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes via County Road 49, Highway 62, and Highway 33 while the ferry is unavailable.
Once maintenance is complete, the ferry will return to its seasonal schedule, offering daily service every 30 minutes from 6 a.m. to 1:15 a.m. Departures will continue from Glenora on the hour and half-hour, and from Adolphustown at a quarter to and a quarter after the hour.
The Ministry says the temporary closure is necessary to ensure safe and reliable ferry operations.
