Neighbouring MP in Lanark-Frontenac, Scott Reid, doesn’t think there’s a baseline anxiety among Conservative Members of Parliament as recent floor crossings have the Liberals one seat away from a majority government.
Reid doesn’t believe it will happen but if it does, it’ll be what he consider a “strong miniority,”
He says the moves from MP’s Michael Ma and Chris d’Entremont were not connected.
Ma’s departure particulaly shocked Reid.
Reid says d’Entremont sought party leadership for years and couldn’t drum up much support.
