As the Ontario Liberals look for their next leader, one potential name has taken himself off the list.
Kingston and the Islands MPP Ted Hsu announced on his Facebook page that he will not be seeking the leadership of the party.
Hsu ran for the Liberal leadership in 2023 and lost out to Bonnie Crombie. This time around, he will be throwing his support to another candidate.
In a statement, Hsu says his decision not to run for the party leadership came after talking with his family, friends and supporters.
Hsu says the Ontario Liberals are in a better postion now than when he was first elected in 2022. He says the next Liberal leader should have a vision that can inspire the residents of Ontario.
