A wanted person has been arrested in Greater Napanee after officers found suspected illegal drugs during the arrest.
OPP say members of the East Region Community Street Crime Unit and the Lennox and Addington detachment located the individual on Mill Street East just after 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 3. The person was taken into custody without incident.
During the arrest, officers seized suspected fentanyl, suspected methamphetamine, and items linked to drug trafficking.
Police have charged 40-year-old Kaesi Renaud, of no fixed address, with two counts of possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Renaud was also wanted on several outstanding warrants, including charges for robbery, theft, failing to appear in court, and failing to comply with release orders.
The accused was remanded in custody following a Wednesday bail hearing. The hearing is scheduled to resume on Thursday, Dec. 4.
