Bath’s Main Street will come alive with holiday cheer on Thursday, December 4, as the community hosts the 6th annual Merry Little Main Street event. The free, family-friendly celebration runs from 5 to 8 p.m. and features more than 35 local businesses.
Originally starting in 2019 as a small gathering at The Lodge Coffee House with MacKinnon Brothers Brewing, the event has grown into a European-style outdoor Christmas market. Visitors can enjoy caroling, live music, visits with Santa, horse-drawn wagon rides, and marshmallow roasting over campfires.
Organized entirely by local business owners in partnership with Loyalist Township, the event showcases Bath’s entrepreneurial spirit and the village’s recent business growth. Main Street will close to traffic to create a safe and festive environment for holiday shopping and community fun.
Attendees are encouraged to dress warmly, as the event takes place outdoors regardless of weather. For more information, visit Facebook or Instagram @merrylittlemainstreetbath.
