Community Living Lennox and Addington held a touching ceremony on October 27 to honour the memory of Taylor Scott, a cherished individual supported by the organization who passed away last fall.
The tribute began as an idea from Board Vice-Chair Kelly McCaugherty and became a reality thanks to the efforts of Dale Laraby, Sam Carde, and the Community Living team. Together, they created a beautiful, accessible bench in Taylor’s memory.
Family members, staff, supported individuals, and Board members gathered to celebrate Taylor’s life and legacy. The ceremony also featured purple hats decorated with butterflies, symbolizing remembrance and love.
It was a meaningful day to reflect, connect, and remember someone who made a lasting impact on the community.
