The Napanee Raiders played just one game this weekend, hosting the Lakefield Chiefs for a rare Saturday night home game at the Best and Bash Arena.
Scoring opened in the first with a goal by Raiders’ Andrew Carr, assisted by Eric Taher and Jackson Barnes. Napanee then went up 2-0 early in the second period thanks to a goal by Mason Goodfellow, assisted by Jackson Barnes and Spencer Cranley. Lakefield then went on to score three unanswered goals in the second period. A scoreless third period would take us to a 3-2 Lakefield Win. Raiders goalie Jacob Brown made 38 saves on 41 shots on goal.
The Napanee Raiders are in fourth place in the East Tod Division standings with a 7-5 record and 14 points. They’re behind Amherstview (16 Points), Picton (16 points), and Lakefield (15 points).
The Raiders are back in action Friday, October 31st when they host Frankford at 7:30pm. Bring the kids in their costumes for a chance to win!
