A 32-year-old man faces charges after an investigation into the creation and distribution of child sexual exploitation material. The Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and the OPP Crime Unit launched the probe earlier this year following reports that the man had shown inappropriate images to young people.
Police executed a search warrant and seized electronic devices for examination. On October 15, 2025, the man was arrested and charged with making, printing, or publishing child sexual abuse material and possession of such material.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in November. His name has not been released to protect the identity of the victims. Police continue to urge the public to report suspicious online activity involving minors.
