A 39-year-old man from Orono is facing several charges after a traffic stop in Loyalist Township early Wednesday morning.
Lennox and Addington County OPP say the incident happened just after 1 a.m. on October 1, 2025. Officers pulled over a vehicle after an Automated Licence Plate Reader flagged an unattached plate.
Police say the driver was arrested following an investigation. He has been charged with impaired driving with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit, dangerous driving, obstructing a peace officer, driving while under suspension, and using a plate not authorized.
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Court in Greater Napanee on October 21, 2025. His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days, and vehicle was impounded.
