Trunk or Treat is returning to Greater Napanee and Loyalist Township on October 26, giving children a safe and fun way to collect Halloween treats.
The family-friendly event lets kids go trunk to trunk in a closed parking lot, rain or shine. Greater Napanee’s event runs from 1-3 p.m. at Market Square, while Loyalist’s takes place from 1-4 p.m. at the Odessa Fairgrounds, 231 Main Street.
Community members, local businesses and organizations will decorate vehicles, and the Odessa Fairground Palace will host Halloween-themed games, crafts, and a cash canteen. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes and bring a bag for treats.
Loyalist Township is working with accessibility groups to make the event inclusive. Local businesses can register vehicles by contacting Greater Napanee or Loyalist Township, but space is limited.
