Lennox and Addington County Ontario Provincial Police say two men have been charged with impaired driving after separate incidents in Stone Mills and Loyalist townships.
On Sunday, Sept. 21, 2025, just after 9 p.m., officers responded to a single-vehicle crash on County Road 14 in Stone Mills. Police say the driver, 32-year-old Matthew McTague of Perth Road, was arrested and charged with impaired operation, refusal to comply with a demand, and dangerous driving.
Hours later, just after midnight on Sept. 22, police stopped a vehicle on County Road 6 in Loyalist Township. A 44-year-old, Trevor Homer, was charged with the same offences.
Both accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Court of Justice in Greater Napanee in October. They also both had their licence suspended for 90 days and vehicles were impounded.
