Cataraqui Conservation is offering a new series of nature programs for adults and seniors starting September 2025 and running through April 2026. The programs include guided hikes, birding, tracking, medicine walks, snowshoeing, reconciliation walks, and virtual sessions.
All programs are free to attend, but registration is required. Participants can sign up online or by contacting Dianne at 613-546-4228 ext. 222.
The sessions aim to encourage seniors to explore the outdoors, learn about local wildlife, and connect with nature in a safe and engaging environment. Cataraqui Conservation staff and partner organizations will lead each activity, providing educational and hands-on experiences for participants.
Monthly programming will continue throughout the fall, winter, and spring, giving seniors the opportunity to enjoy seasonal changes in local ecosystems.
These programs also promote health, wellness, and community engagement while fostering appreciation for the natural environment.
