It’s ‘Proudly Canadian, Proudly Local Day’ presented by Bob Mark Equipment Sales and Rentals. We are profiling Harvest Brinery.
This small local business is making a big name for itself with handmade pickles, sauces, and local produce. Harvest Brinery started at the Napanee Farmers’ Market in 2014 with just five products. By 2017, owners Colleen and her husband Miles opened a storefront at 128 John Street. Today, the shop offers over 90 products, plus fresh baked goods and a seasonal produce tent.
What sets them apart? Almost everything is made in-store using locally sourced ingredients. Colleen says it just makes sense to support local farmers and keep costs down. The team even picks their own produce from farms like Spring Meadow Orchards and local growers in the Kingston area.
The shop is always buzzing with customers and the smell of what’s on the stove. Colleen says community support means everything, and reminds people that local shops offer quality, care, and real connection that big box stores can’t match.
