La Pizzaria owners Bill and Marina Kosmopoulos receive a shoutout leading up to the 2020 Business Achievement Awards
A team of volunteers in Greater Napanee is bringing back a popular program to recognize local businesses, organizations, and community members making a difference in our community.
The program, originally known for its monthly “shout outs,” began as part of the Business Achievement Awards organized by the Chamber of Commerce and now-defunct Business Improvement Area.
It paused during the pandemic but is now back with a broader focus. Organizer Tiffany Lloyd explained,
Nominations are currently being accepted online at TiffanyLloyd.ca.
They’re also looking for some sponsors each month to help cover the printing the certificates among other costs they have. So far, Ellena’s Cafe has sponsored January, Groovy Cats Art has sponsored February, and a sponsor for March is in the works.
Each month, volunteers will hand deliver these certificates to the businesses, organizations, and community members who deserve them.
