The Town of Greater Napanee is set to sign a new naming rights agreement with Best & Bash Developments for the Recreation Centre at 16 McPherson Drive.
Scheduled to start on September 1, 2024, and run until August 31, 2034, this deal follows the end of the current agreement on August 31, 2024, which has lasted 20 years.
The Town’s legal team has reviewed the agreement, and Best & Bash is ready to sign. The agreement includes an annual payment of $30,000 for 10 years, totaling $300,000, with additional costs for signage and branding covered by the developer.
Signage updates are confirmed but a replacement timeline is still pending. Ice logos and municipal applications currently displaying “Strathcona Paper Centre” will be updated by September 1, 2024.
