The Canada Day long weekend is here! Here’s what’s happening:
In Greater Napanee, the day starts with a firefighters’ pancake breakfast at the Strathcona Paper Centre from 7 to 10 a.m. Later on, check out the Napanee Valley Cruisers Show N’ Shine at the soccer field from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The evening brings more fun with pony rides, a bouncy castle, a dance party with DJ Digital Mike, and a NorthFIRE Circus performance. The day ends with a fireworks display.
In Bath, festivities begin with a pancake breakfast at the Bath Fire Hall from 7 to 11 a.m. Kids can enjoy activities like horse-drawn wagon rides, inflatable castles, and live music throughout the day. Don’t miss the Bath Canada Day Parade starting at 1 p.m.
In Tamworth, start your day with a pancake breakfast at the fire hall from 8 to 10 a.m. Activities include soap box derby races, decorated bike judging, and a parade. Head over to Tamworth Ball Park for children’s games, face painting, a classic car show, and more. The evening features a charity barbecue by the Lion’s Club and ends with birthday cupcakes and fireworks at 10 p.m.
In Deseronto, the day concludes with a stunning fireworks display over the bay.
