The Community Foundation for Lennox and Addington has created two new funds, thanks to a donation of $32,500 from Newburgh resident David Field.
myFM spoke with Bob Baker, Executive Director of the Community Foundation, to learn more about these new funds.
Mr. Field has also established the Mary Jo Field Indigenous Student Award Fund in memory of his wife, Mary Jo.
Mr. Field, who is also Foundation Board Director, shared that he hopes “to make a difference by contributing funds close to home and inspiring others to join me in supporting local causes through the Community Foundation.”
