The Napanee Raiders kept riding the high from their 8-4 win in Picton last night to collect their second win in a row.
The Raiders led 2-0 after the first period thanks to goals by Michael Patrick and Cameron Krupa. Patrick opened the scoring in the second, which also saw goals form Ben Chubbs, Blake Aylesworth and Ryan Kidd for a 6-0 lead. Scoring in the third opened fast with a goal by Jackson Barnes just 31 seconds into the period. The remainder of the period saw goals by Ben White, Adam Nuttall and Andrew Carr for a 10-0 win.
The Napanee Raiders are sitting in fourth place in the East Tod Division standings with a 21-14-0-1 record and 43 points. They sit behind Frankford (24-7-4-0), Port Hope (22-11-3-1) and Amherstview (23-12-0-0). Followed by Picton (14-19-1-1) and Campbellford (0-32-1-1).
The Raiders return to action next Friday, February 9th when they’ll host the Amherstview Jets at the SPC. Puck drop at 7:30pm. The on Saturday, February 10th the Raiders will head to Frankford to play the Huskies. Puck drop at 6:50pm.
