We’re wishing a speedy recovery to Napanee Raiders goalie Logan Vale who will miss the remainder of the season.
During an away game in Frankford on January 14th, the goaltender fell behind his net. It took almost a week before Vale started experiencing symptoms from the fall.
Last Friday night, January 19th, he started in net for the team’s home game against Port Hope. However, after the second period, he complained of dizziness and the possibility of fainting.
A member of the Raiders training staff suggested he go to the hospital to get checked, where a CT scan revealed a small brain bleed.
Fortunately, surgery was not required, and Vale is on the road to recovery.
The 19-year-old rookie from Trenton had a 12-9 record on the season having made 628 saves with a 2.79 goals against average.
