The Raiders were looking to bounce back from a 5-2 loss the night before against Picton but would fall just short to Port Hope.
In a classic Friday night home game, the Raiders hosted the Panthers. Port Hope would open scoring with two in the first half of the period with Napanee’s Ben Chubbs scoring the Raiders to end the period down 2-1. Second period saw two goals for Port Hope with Michael Patrick scoring with less than a minute left in the period for a 4-2 score. Erik MacNiel scored early in the third to bring the Raiders within one goal of the Panthers. Port Hope would shortly there after score their fifth of the night. Michael Patrick would go on to score one more for the Raiders for a final 5-4 score.
The Napanee Raiders are sitting in fourth place in the East Tod Division standings with a 18-13-0-1 record and 37 points. They sit behind Frankford (22-6-4-0), Port Hope (20-10-3-1) and Amherstview (20-11-0-0). Followed by Picton (13-17-1-1) and Campbellford (0-27-1-1).
