If we hop in our time machine and head back 60 years ago in Napanee, there was no volunteer services. Not even a hospital!
myFM spoke with Les Humphries, who told us more about the birth of the LACGH Volunteer Services.
They’re hosting an anniversary event Saturday, October 14th in the LACGH Westdale Complex, 12 Richmond Park Drive.
There will also be a special presentation made in support of the new MRI fund.
And did I mention… it’s 60’s themed!
The LACGH Volunteer Services are always looking for new recruits. Anyone interested in volunteering can learn more during the open house and speak with past volunteers from the last 60 years.
If you’re interested in volunteering, you can also contact volunteer coordinator Susan Jack at susan.jack@lacgh.napanee.on.ca or by calling 613-354-3301 ex 297.
