An apple a day keeps the doctor away. But an apple this Sunday means you’re supporting the 1st Napanee Valley Scouting Group.
myFM spoke with Group Commissioner Dan Chamberlain, who told us where you can find them this weekend.
So while out shopping this Sunday, you’ll likely run into a Beaver, Cub or Scout who will offer you a free apple.
Funds raised through Apple Day go to subsidizing adventures for the kids, paying for the scouting fees,
Last year, money raised went towards the purchase of snowshoes for a fun winter adventure.
They’re looking forward to what adventure they’ll be able to go on next, thanks to the generosity of the community.
