Greater Napanee Pride is thrilled to announce updates on its first-ever Pride Summit, scheduled for September 23 at Napanee District Secondary School. This event aims to empower Pride board members, GSA students, and advocates in rural Eastern Ontario.
Here’s what’s new:
- 2 Spirit Panel Introduction: We are thrilled to incorporate a dedicated panel highlighting the experiences and wisdom of our 2 Spirit community members. This addition ensures a broader representation and understanding of the diverse 2SLGBTQIA+ spectrum.
- Confirmed Speakers: Alongside our renowned list of speakers like Rev. Cheri DiNovo, Tim McCaskell, MP Eric Duncan, Dr. Lee Airton, Alison Clark and Kelly Dear, attendees can anticipate enriching workshops on vital subjects such as pride history, government advocacy, gender and sexuality education, and team dynamics.
