A driver from Deseronto is facing charges of attempted murder.
On the afternoon of August 10, the Lennox and Addington OPP were notified of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on Prince Street in Deseronto. One person suffered serious injuries, while another managed to avoid the vehicle.
Officers found the suspected vehicle and arrested the driver after investigating.
54-year-old Daniel Craley has been charged with two counts of Attempt to commit murder, two counts of Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, two counts of Assault with a weapon, Failure to stop after accident and Criminal harassment.
The accused was held for a bail hearing and was remanded into custody. The accused is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
