If you’re out driving around Greater Napanee, you may experience very little delays here and there, as Hydro One will be out working on some upcoming vegetation maintenance.
Work will take place in the right-of-way areas along County Road 9, Hambly Road, Fitchett Road, and the surrounding vicinity.
The maintenance work will involve clearing out incompatible vegetation, which includes removing brush and trees that are dead, diseased, or pose a hazard.
It aims to make sure that power lines remain safe and dependable. It’s necessary to prevent any unnecessary disruptions in service, provide easy access for emergency repairs, and maintain the safety of the right-of-way for public use.
