If you’re staying local this summer and are looking for something for the kids to do, check out the Museum of Lennox and Addington.
This summer, the Museum Kids Club will be offering a fun, bi-weekly program, that will be themed around the beloved Napanee story, The Secret of Willow Castle, which was inspired by the Macpherson family and Macpherson House.
myFM spoke with Alannah MacGregor, Programs & Exhibitions Co-ordinator, who told us more.
MacGregor told us this program is a fun way of getting kids interested in that time period and learning about the history of our community.
Museum Kids Club takes place July 14th, 28th, August 11th and 25th. Drop off time each morning is 9:45am, with pick-up at 12:00pm. The cost to attend all four sessions is $85.00 per child.
Pre-registration is required and will be available until Friday, July 13th or until spaces are filled.
