8 Wing Trenton has unveiled five new crosswalks painted to honour Indigenous peoples and spirit / gender diversity.
Two crosswalks are painted orange with seven white feathers to celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day June 21st. Base command says the visible representation is intended to foster a sense of belonging within the Indigenous community at CFB Trenton.
Three crosswalks were painted with colours that are Pride-themed to show respect and support of Pride month and diversity in the community.
