The hot, dry conditions are prompting municipalities across the region to issue full burn bans.
This morning as of 10am, a full fire ban was issued in Stone Mills Township.
As of noon today, the Township of Addington Highlands implemented a total fire ban in conjunction with the Township of North Frontenac and Bon Echo Provincial Park.
As of Saturday morning, a full burn ban was issued in Prince Edward County.
Current and forecasted weather conditions have resulted extreme wildland fire hazard conditions. Failure to comply with the fire ban may result in fines to those who set a fire.
Currently in Greater Napanee, the risk level is currently at a 3, which is a high risk.
